The documentation for the program ShortCut has been
formatted without any printer control characters other than
a pagefeed. You may copy it directly to a printer by issuing
the command:
COPY SHORTCUT.DOC PRN:
The documentation may also be viewed on the screen by
issuing the command:
TYPE SHORTCUT.DOC
Be ready to stop the scrolling display by using the
Ctrl-NumLock combination.
ShortCut can be used also. To start ShortCut, just
put a copy (not your original) of the ShortCut distribution
diskette in the default drive then issue the command:
SHORTCUT
Next move the directory arrow until it is pointing at the
entry SHORTCUT.DOC and then press the spacebar. This marks
the file as the one you want to use and it will be
highlighted in the directory window. Next press F5 to view
the file on the screen or F6 to send it to the printer.
Follow the prompt and press the enter key when you are
ready. Remember to use Ctrl-NumLock to freeze the scrolling
screen in order to give yourself time to read the
documentation when you are sending it to the screen.
ShortCut is distributed for your testing on a trial
basis. It remains the property of Mossy Rock Systems and
all rights are reserved. Many hours of work went into
programming ShortCut and identifying the resources needed
to make it perform. You may license your copy for personal
use for $25. After licensing ShortCut you may freely use
ShortCut and make any copies of ShortCut you need, but you
may only use it on any one machine at a time. Commercial
users please refer to the documentation or contact Mossy Rock
Systems.
You are also encouraged to distribute copies of
the ShortCut distribution diskette as long as ShortCut and
its documentation are not altered in any way. The
documentation must accompany the program. A distribution
fee not to exceed $7.50 may be charged by user groups as long
as it is made clear that this fee is not charged by, or paid
to Mossy Rock Systems.
Encourage and support the development of low cost
quality software by supporting the shareware distribution
of this and all shareware software. Pay for what you find
useful or this source of inexpensive software will soon dry
up.
